We like Wednesdays around here because for a few segments we get to kick back and talk about the TV shows and movies we're into lately. Mo'Kelly is filling in for Gary and Shannon this week, and has some recommendations for us.
First up is 'Umbrella Academy' on Netflix. Gary and Shannon have talked about this show before, but let's bring it up again. This show is awesome! It's smart, it's funny, it's got incredible action, and you don't need to know anything about superheroes or the source material.
Just fire up Netflix and start with episode one!
Next on the list is 'The Boys' on Amazon Prime. If you've ever watched a superhero movie and wondered, "Hey they just destroyed a city block! Who's going to clean up that mess? And who's going to pay for it?!" you'll like this show. Like Umbrella Academy, it's a very different kind of superhero show. The Boys is in it's second season as well. Check out the trailer!
