And that's why you never steal the family Range Rover to drive fast around your neighborhood, your parents will force you to get rid of all of your possessions. A classic lesson.
A teenager in Phoenix is busted after he took his parents Range Rover for a spin while they were on vacation. 14-year-old Angel Martinez told Fox 10 in Phoenix:
"I just wanted to drive but I don’t have a license so I just took it. I can wash the car, and I was like I don’t have anything to dry it, so I’m gonna take it for one spin until it dries."
Martinez's parents were celebrating their anniversary in Las Vegas when they were interrupted by a phone call from the police. Their son has been in trouble in the past,so when they got back from their trip they went into Angel's room and cleared everything out. Everything.
The bed, his clothes, the TV, all of it is being given away. Angel's father Ramon said:
"We got back to the house. Today, his room is 100% empty, and we’re giving all his stuff away."
Ramon sat outside with Angel, as he sat on the curb in front of the house on his bed with all of his belongings and a sign reading, "Sorry I stole my parent's car and was speeding."
Ramon and his wife not only wanted to teach their son a lesson with a public display, they also wanted to apologize to their neighbors and want to make sure everyone around them is safe from their son's joyriding.
