Our flying experiences may have changed a little bit thanks to COVID-19, but the terrible people who manage to make their way onto flights are still going strong. In our latest edition of #TerrorInTheSkies we put you on a flight from Seattle to Chicago, so sit back, relax, and prepare for chaos.
Everything was fine on Saturday's Alaska Flight 422, when all of the sudden a passenger started yelling about how he was going to kill everybody on the plane unless they accepted that Jesus was a black man.
Video from inside the plane shows the crazed man roaming up and down the aisles screaming, "I will kill everybody on this plane unless you accept Jesus was a black man!" We're not sure why he decided this was the time to have this discussion, but none of our #TerrorInTheSkies stories come from a place of logic. And while passengers were undoubtedly scared, they could at least take comfort in the fact that he had a mask on.
He yelled, "Die in the name of Jesus!" right before other passengers appear to tackle him to the floor.
The pilot had to pull a u-turn and land back at Seattle-Tacoma where he was put into police custody and booked into King County Jail. The terror of a man was said to be cooperative with police and thankfully no passengers were hurt.
2020 is bad enough people. If we have to fly, can't we just fly in peace?
