If you were on Twitter this weekend you probably saw memes, clips, and reactions from Jada Pinkett Smith's latest episode of Red Table Talk. In the episode she and husband Will Smith sat down to clear the air about an affair she had with 27-year-old singer August Aslina, who we've honestly never heard of until now.
The best nugget of the conversation came from Jada when she referred to her relationship with August as an "entanglement." Will said, "You and I decided we were gonna take our space. And then what happened?"
"And then I got into an entanglement with August," said Jada. An entanglement? That's a new one, an instant classic! That honestly sounds like a word straight from the school of Gavin Newsom phrases. The whole conversation goes on for about ten minutes, and Will seems incredibly uncomfortable the entire time.
We know everyone's relationship is different and not everyone is perfect, but there's something so strange about the two of them talking about this so openly. It's clear their relationship isn't what it used to be, but for whatever reason they're sticking together through this entanglement.
