TLC announced last week that it would be halting production of the series "My 600-lb Life," after complaints that the show continued shooting despite the CDC's label of severely obese people of being at high-risk for catching COVID-19.
From March 20 through March 26, the series filmed episodes in Texas, Florida, and Mississippi. Though the three states having differing Coronavirus measures in place, Florida and Texas have "stay-at-home" orders. Mississippi has yet to issue such an order, however the recommendation from the U.S. government is to stay home and practice social distancing.
