Man dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow gone missing

What began as a fun little getaway to watch the sun set has ended in a missing persons case. On Saturday evening, Joshua Grant Hensley, 43, dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow and rowed away in a small paddle boat towards Shell Island in Florida.

According to authorities, Hensley, a park ranger working at Hunter Springs Park in Crystal River, Florida, was last seen at 6:30pm on Saturday. He left in his paddle boat wearing brown, colonial style pants, a brown bandanna and a brown and white jacket. His look impersonates the famous, Captain Jack Sparrow, main character from the film, “Pirates of the Caribbean.”

Hensley’s paddle boat was found in King’s Bay Monday morning but his car remains in the Hunter Springs parking lot.

Search and rescue is currently looking for Hensley but there is no evidence that shows he made it to his destination.
