This year has been a little different but it's not going to stop our annual Thanksgrilling event! We are broadcasting live from Instagram live @ForkReporter with special guests giving us grilling tips, cocktails, and ideas for Thanksgiving.
Let's get grilling! Christie Vanover from Girls Can Grill was able to join us, while at a BBQ competition, to talk about her rubs and give some tips. Christie started grilling in her 20s and with the help of her father-in-law she has become an award winning griller. In 2015 Christie launched Girls Can Grill as a way to motive other women to pick up the tongs. You can also check out her award winning rubs at Spiceology. Check out what Christie has cooking Instagram and her website Girls Can Grill
For all your grilling and BBQ needs we have the lovely Patty Sharpe from The Wood Shed. Along with her Pit master Ed, Patty gave us some great tips on smoking Turkey breast for this Thanksgiving and some great ideas for rubs. Patty also does some great work with Light The Night, an organization that helps the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. For more info and ways to help check out WoodShedFundraiser.com
If you're looking for some quality meats then we have the spot for you! John Feulling from The Corner Butcher Shop checked in live from the La Verne location with a plate full of turkey, mashed potatoes, and pie! You can listen to the full interview here and if you stop by their location make sure you tell them the Fork Report sent you!
Holiday cocktails with my brother! Craig Saavedra join the Fork Report live from his speakeasy with some great holiday cocktails. You can catch their "Quarantine Speakeasy" live on Instagram broadcast every Saturday at 9p (PTS). Here are two great holiday cocktails from Craig to get you in the Thanksgiving and Christmas spirit!
