'Tis the Season for Gingerbread and Houses!

This holiday season, Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar is inviting guests to build their own gingerbread houses in order to give families across the country the opportunity to help build an affordable place to call home. From November 12 to December 31, guests can order a gingerbread house kit for $5.95. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Habitat for Humanity International.

Founder and CEO of Lazy Dog Restaurants, Chris Simms, came in to KFI to talk to Neil about their partnership with Habitat for Humanity. He says they share a common desire to support and give back to our communities in a meaningful way.

Guests can build and decorate a gingerbread house at the restaurant while enjoying some good food and drink. Each kit comes with pre-cut edible gingerbread walls and roof pieces, icing to keep it all together, and gummy and chocolate candies for imaginative decorating. The gingerbread houses are available at all Lazy Dog locations.

Through the partnership with Habitat for Humanity, every gingerbread house purchased at a Lazy Dog Restaurant will help families in need of a decent place to live in communities across the U.S. Habitat strives to help others build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter.
