LAeats PRESENTS: THE POP UP FOOD HALL ON SUNDAY, JUNE 10
On Sunday, June 10, the longtime local food bloggers behind LAeats will host their first food event – The Pop Up Food Hall – at the Water Garden campus in Santa Monica.
Inspired by the thrill of discovering and sharing great food via social media, the ticketed event will feature exclusive barbecue brisket sandwiches prepared by Chef Eric Greenspan, made using brisket sourced by legendary meat purveyor Pat LaFrieda then smoked by Burt Bakman of Trudy's Underground Barbecue, and authentic hot chicken from Bolton's Spicy Chicken & Fish (recently featured on Netflix's Ugly Delicious), whose husband & wife team will be serving hot wings and hot chicken sandwiches for the first time out of Nashville.
Each entree will be served on a Martin's Potato Roll and come with its own certificate of authenticity.
Attendees will also be able to enjoy made-to-order triple truffle fries with freshly micro-planned, black summer truffles from NYC-based Urbani Truffles, iced coffees and nitro-cold brew from Califia Farms, desserts, and a variety of games and entertainment.
MENU:
Unlike most food events, ticket tiers will allow attendees to purchase full-sized entrees (rather than tastes) of both or either:
- The #18 (Chef Eric Greenspan's Exclusive Smoked Brisket Melt): Developed exclusively for the event, Chef Greenspan's Smoked Brisket Melt will feature brisket sourced by legendary East Coast meat purveyor Pat LaFrieda then smoked by Burt Bakman of Trudy's Underground Barbecue, served on a Martin's Potato Roll with melted cheddar cheese and slaw.
- Authentic Nashville Hot Chicken from Bolton's Spicy Chicken & Fish: Available for the first time outside Nashville, both hot wings and a hot chicken sandwich served on Martin's Potato Roll will be available from Bolton's, which has been featured on both Netflix's Ugly Delicious and Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown.
Each entree will also come with a side of decadent Fresh Summer Truffle Fries coated with white truffle oil, white truffle salt, and freshly micro-planned black summer truffles from Urbani Truffles, as well as a certificate of authenticity.
