Chef Simon Davies of the Michelin-starred Chicago restaurant Alinea has created a surrealist version of the classic fall dessert, pumpkin pie.
The pie isn't the average size of a normal pie and it doesn't look like a normal pumpkin pie either. Guests can order this pie which is on the restaurants fall menu for a limited time. The pie consists of the clear pumpkin filling, a dollop of whipped cream and a flaky crust.
