Two additional FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried associates have pleaded guilty to criminal charges. Gary Wang, a co-founder of FTX, and Carolyn Ellison, a former CEO of Alameda Research, have both pleaded guilty, according to the prosecution, for "their roles in the fraud that resulted to FTX's bankruptcy."

According to court records, both have consented to assist investigators in exchange for "leniency at sentence." On Wednesday, Bankman-Fried was returned to the United States by the Bahamas.

Since FTX's demise, Bankman-Fried has been making rounds in the media to apologize, but in late November he told the New York Times that he doesn't believe he is legally responsible.
