Professional eater Joey Chestnut has added another record to his long list of achievements.
Chestnut broke the world popcorn-eating record this week, downing 32, 24-ounce servings of popcorn in less than 8 minutes.
The feat took place before a minor league baseball game between the Indianapolis Indians and the Rochester Red Wings, in Chestnut's home state of Indiana.
The previous record was 28.5 servings and was held by another professional eater Matt Stonie.
This feat marks Chestnut's 50th competitive eating world record:
He has set — and broken — the Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog and bun eating record 15 times. His other records include eating 182 chicken wings in 30 minutes and 18 pounds, 9.6 ounces of St. Elmo shrimp cocktail in eight minutes.
