Two Taco Bell customers are suing the fast food chain after they were allegedly attacked by a manager of a Dallas restaurant.
The victims say they sustained serious burns when a manager poured scalding water on them after they complained about an incomplete order.
The lawsuit claims Brittany Davis and a minor only identified as CT were left with permanent skin damage and changes to their appearance from the incident.
The suit alleges Taco Bell and workers at the restaurant displayed gross negligence that set the alleged attack in motion.
The company released a statement saying it takes the safety of workers and customers seriously and has been in touch with franchise owner and operator described in the suit.
