A new report is sharing some shocking details about the mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas where 19 children and two adults were killed.
An investigative committee from the Texas House of Representatives released the nearly 80-page report saying:
“At Robb Elementary, law enforcement responders failed to adhere to their active shooter training, and they failed to prioritize saving innocent lives over their own safety.”
The report says the gunman fired over 140 rounds inside the building and they are almost certain that 100 of the shots came before any officer entered.
According to the report, of the 376 law enforcement officers who arrived on scene, nearly 150 of them were US Border Patrol agents...many of which were better trained and equipped than the school district police.
The report also highlighted the shooter's family who could not identify warning signs, a school district that had deviated from strict commitment to its safety plan, and a police response that disregarded its own active-shooter training.
