Health officials are warning the indoor mask mandates could return to L.A. County within the next few weeks. L.A. County Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer says the county could move into the “high” virus activity category later this month. She says the county will then re-impose an indoor mask-wearing requirement if the county remains in the “high” category for two weeks straight.
Currently, the county is in the CDC’s “medium” category.
