Olympians to Sleep on Cardboard Beds to Prevent "Intimacy Among Athletes"

Olympic athletes won't get the luxury of sleeping on pillow top beds during their time at the Tokyo Olympic Village.

Athletes have tweeted photos of cardboard mattresses that have been set up with the intent most believe to prevent any *ahem* activity that would have the potential to spread COVID-19.

It's not a secret that Olympians tend to meet up in the village for non-sports activity so on paper, the beds make sense.

However as Irish gymnast Rhys McClenaghan has shown in a video, some cardboard may not be what stops some from having fun.
