An Iowa man was arrested Saturday after police said he threatened to blow up a McDonald's because they didn't include dipping sauce for his chicken McNuggets.
Talk about being hangry.
Sgt. Corey Schneden with the police department in Iowa said that the 42-year-old Robert Golwitzer Jr. called the McDonald's restaurant around 5:20 p.m. Saturday after discovering his order was incorrect. In the call, Golwitzer allegedly threatened to blow up the Mickey D's where he picked up his McNuggets because they forgot his sauces. Oh, he allegedly threatened to punch an employee as well.
The McDonald's restaurant turned Golwitzer's number over to the police, where they contacted him, got him to come down to the police station where he confessed to his moment of "bomb-threatening hangar."
Golwitzer is being charged with a Class D felony - false report of an explosive or incendiary device.
There isn't confirmation what dipping sauce was missing from Golwitzer's order, but if it was ranch or honey mustard... we get it.
Joking! In all seriousness, PSA - don't let your hangar get the worst of you.
