Study Shows COVID Vaccines Don't Lower Sperm Count or Quality

Researchers at the University of Miami have found that men who received either the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines don't have a lower sperm count.

The work was done to soothe some men's fears who were worried over some premature reports of vaccine related fertility issues.

Study author Dr. Ranjith Ramasamy, the director of male reproductive medicine and surgery at the University of Miami Health System says:

“Because the vaccines contain mRNA and not the live virus, it is unlikely that the vaccine would affect sperm parameters."
