In Washington, volunteer dishwasher Elijah Osborn decided he could not stay silent after witnessing the kitchen staff of QQ Sushi & Kitchen preparing food on the floor.
As Newsweek reported, Osborn shared a video of the restaurant preparing food on Facebook with the caption: “I’m sorry...[but] I have such a passion for cooking and the food and beverage industry I have a moral obligation to show the people what they are paying for.”
Osborn’s post has grabbed major public attention, and it is safe to say the public is mortified. The Spokane Regional Health District has agreed to investigate the situation and are taking the claims seriously; especially since past investigations have revealed the restaurant has a pattern with violations.
