According to ABC 10 News, early Tuesday morning, dozens of very large tuna fish fell from the back of a truck on its way to a processing plant in Mira Mesa and into the streets of San Diego’s Little Italy neighborhood.Â
Apparently, the truck had been driving on an incline when an unsecured back door slid open and unleashed the school of tuna, which caused quite the traffic jam.Â
The clean up required lane closures, and although most were returned back to the truck safely, some bystanders took the liberty of collecting a few fish and then making a run for it, the driver told reporters on the scene.Â
