Meet Travis And His Singing Donkey Nathan

Hey everyone! I'm back. I was out on a leave for a bit and I know you've been missing (or I hope you've been missing) my 'Feel Good' posts!

When I saw this video yesterday on Facebook, it made me laugh out loud, and I hope it makes you do the same.

According to his Facebook page, Travis Kinley is "just a man with a horse, trying to leave the world better than I found it."

What a great idea...if we all did this, the world would be a better place, right?

Well, in this particular case, Travis is a man with a donkey, just trying to make the world smile.

Travis decided a few days ago that it was a beautiful day in South Carolina, so beautiful in fact, it inspired him to venture out to his horse pasture and gather his horses and donkeys around for a song.

His friends requested he sing the beginning of The Circle Of Life, from the movie 'The Lion King.'

Now, if you don't already know, the song starts with a few words in Zulu....

"Nants ingonyama bagithi baba, Sithi uhm ingonyama. Nants ingonyama bagithi baba Sithi uhhmm ingonyama ingonyama siyo nqoba ingonyama ingonyama nengw enamabala."

That phrase according to The Insider translates in English to:

"Here comes a lion, father. Oh yes it's a lion. Here comes a lion father,. Oh yes it's a lion. A lion. We're going to conquer. A Lion. A Lion and a leopard come to this open place."

As Travis started to sing, most of his horses and donkeys were unimpressed, but one donkey, a three-year-old named Nathan, decided he wanted to sing along.

Travis told WKYC News that Nathan is really playful donkey:

"I got him from about the North Carolina, South Carolina line. He was causing some trouble at someone else's house and I just picked him up for $100 bucks, he seemed alright with me. So, I got in the pasture, I gather all horses.... I start singing and Nathan starts to bray behind me, and I'm kind of blown away because we never do this together; we never sing together,. He keeps going, so I keep going, and all of a sudden I just kind of break down laughing at the end."

Well, the video went viral, so check it out and I promise you by the end, you will be laughing too!

Thank you Travis and Nathan for bringing the world a smile.
