There's A New Viral Challenge That's Making People Turn Their Heads

When it comes to our teenage years, we all do stupid stuff.

With the addition of the internet, viral challenges have taken a new toll in the everyday life of a teen.

In recent news, teens are daring each other to eat plastic packaging, cardboard, and fruit peels so they can actively participate in the "shell on" challenge.

In order for people to know you've participated, you must post a video of yourself to Snapchat.

This may take the toll for one of the dumbest ideas.

While this challenge isn't nearly as dangerous as the deadly "Tide Pod challenge", it's still very dangerous. Doctors are advising people to please not eat anything that isn't food.

“Organic material like fruit peels are typically not dangerous. Zest is often used in recipes (lemon zest) which is the shavings of the rind,” Chicago-area physician Max Plitt told The Post. “Eating plastic, on the other hand, can be dangerous. BPA has been suggested to influence hormones. Chemicals in PVC like vinyl chloride have been linked to cancers.”

However, it's not stopping teens.

They are eating cereals through the boxes, bananas without peeling, carrots through the plastic and show much more.

While the trend appears mostly on Snapchat, several people blasted the teens in the videos on Twitter.

I mean, why aren't more people bashing the teenagers for this challenge.

It needs to be stopped as soon as possible.
