NASA Cancels First All-Female Spacewalk Because They Can't Pack Correctly

I don't know about you, but whenever I go away on any trip whether it's for a night or for two weeks, I always have this extreme anxiety that I forgot something.

So when I heard this story, I had some sympathy......not a lot but some.

NASA has made the decision to cancel this Friday's first ever all-female spacewalk.

Why?

Because they forgot a second suit to fit both female Expedition 59 astronauts.

Instead of Anne McClain and Christina Koch working on the battery installation for the Space Station's solar arrays, Nick Hague will take McClain's place.

She will then join David Saint-Jacques for part two of the project on April 8.

In a statement released Monday, the space agency admitted:

"McClain learned during her first spacewalk that a medium-size hard upper torso – essentially the shirt of the spacesuit – fits her best. Because only one medium-size torso can be made ready by Friday, March 29, Koch will wear it."
