The tooting security guard went viral for filming himself farting at work for six months!
Security Guard Doug, dutifully (haha, duty) recorded his gassy moments on Instagram, which then took over on Reddit. From Reddit, someone made a fart compilation and it is ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL.
In the video compilation, it shows Doug bringing joy to the people in the hospital lobby with his farts!
One Redditor called the video, "The Sistine Chapel of Fart Videos."
But, how did Doug get his farting start?
Doug (who did not give his last name or the hospital's name where he worked at) moved from New Jersey to Florida to help his mother after his father died. In Florida, he got his security guard license and began to "guard" at a hospital. He was quickly placed as the first point of contact at the hospital as he won visitors over with his relaxed demeanor, humor, and charm. Yet, as exciting as this may be, there were times of sheer boredom for Doug.
Doug told Vice," The lobby has really great acoustics, and naturally, we all fart. One day I ripped a rather nice one and got really good sound from it, so the next time it happened I recorded it and sent it to my group chat."
Hence! A courageous hero and warrior emerged: "Paul Flart."
But, all farts must come to an end.
"It has come to our attention that you recorded yourself, wearing that uniform, on our client's property," his supervisor told him. Doug (a.k.a. Paul Flart), defended himself by saying, "I never showed any logos or anything." Yet, his supervisor wrote him up.
Paul Flart (a.k.a. Doug) said in one of his videos, "That's it, we lost the job, guys."
Paul Flart still gives his fans hope, "Please stay tuned, I appreciate all you guys."
So, what's next for Paul Flart?
He's going to start his own merchandise chain! He even hints at making fart-themed content!
Mr. Flart tells Vice, "We're going to keep making content. We can do Paul Flart on vacation, you know, throw in like a Hawaiian shirt and a hat of some sort and then just fart around Florida. We're just going to keep going."
Hey Paul. Doug. Mr. Flart... from all of us here, stay at it. We love you.
Breaking wind along with you,
