LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Police sought the public's help Thursday to find a 68- year-old man last seen at the Vermont Square Branch Library in South Los Angeles.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Gilbert Jones was last seen in the 1200 block of West 48th Street around 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 2, and his family is concerned about his safety.
Detectives described Jones as Black, 5-feet, 10-inches tall, 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. It was unknown what Jones was last seen wearing.
Anyone with information regarding Jones' whereabouts was urged to call Officer Hendrickson at 213-996-1800. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477. During non-business hours or weekends, calls should be directed to 877-527-3247.
