The World's Most "Welcoming" Countries of 2022

For passport holders, some countries are more open than others.

  • Global citizenship firm Arton Capital has shared its rank of Most Welcoming Countries of 2022.
  • Several countries took the top spot: Angola, Djibouti, Guinea, Maldives, Comoros, Somalia, Bolivia, East Timor, Malawi, Qatar, Micronesia, Burundi, Guinea-Bissau, Nigeria, Tuvalu, Samoa, Gabon, Cote d'Ivoire, South Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Cambodia, and Ethiopia.
  • The least "welcoming" are  North Korea, Turkmenistan, and Afghanistan.
