The Twitter posts commemorating Fallon's life and claiming he died started rolling in after an imposter Tonight Show account posted about his supposed death.

In a tweet, Fallon asked new Twitter owner Elon Musk to do something about the trending hashtag. This is just the latest in a string of troll-like activity that has occurred since Musk took the helm at Twitter last month.
