Rams Linebacker Takes Out Fan Who Ran Onto Field

The L.A. Rams' Bobby Wagner performed an impressive hit during Monday's game against the San Francisco 49ers, skillfully blindsiding his opponent and leaving him flattened on the field!

The incident happened in the second quarter, when a would-be protestor ran onto the field carrying a device that was emitting a pink cloud of smoke.

"I just saw someone running on the field," Wagner says. "It looked like he wasn't supposed to be on the field, so I saw security was having a problem. So I helped them out."

The intruder was then escorted off the field by security. It's unclear if he was arrested or charged with a crime.

Wagner's feat of heroism didn't get by 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan, who voiced his support for his opponent's actions.

"I saw Bobby Wagner taking somebody out," Shanahan said after the game. "I thought that was kind of cool to see."
