A San Antonio man is in critical condition after a thief stole his SUV and led police on a high-speed police chase -- while he was clinging to the roof of the vehicle!!!

The incident happened on Wednesday after the unidentified victim caught a thief -- later identified as 29-year-old Jacob Benito Zuniga -- stealing his SUV, police say. In an attempt to stop him, the man jumped on top of the vehicle... but Zuniga took off anyway.
Officers began pursuing the vehicle after other motorists reported seeing Zuniga driving "erratically" in an attempt to shake off his unwanted passenger, police say.
After leading cops on a high-speed pursuit, Zuniga crashed, causing the victim to be thrown off the vehicle. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in critical condition on Friday.
Zuniga was captured after a brief foot chase and was arrested on charges of aggravated robbery, intoxication assault and evading arrest, police say.
