Tunnel to Towers is helping to house homeless vets in California!

The charity has just provided a large undisclosed grant to get a project moving to build housing for 3,000 homeless veterans in Los Angeles. The cost of the project is expected to be 1.1 billion dollars, and will be mostly paid for with state and federal funds.

The first group of Los Angeles vets will be able to move into their new apartments at the end of the year!

Tunnel to Towers was created by Frank Siller after his firefighter brother, Stephen, died on Sept. 11 while running in the tunnel to the Twin Towers.
