ANAHEIM (CNS) - A man was taken into custody on suspicion of murder after a body was found in his Anaheim home, police said today.

Officers were sent to the 500 block of North Philadelphia Street about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday ``after receiving a call of an adult male subject at a residence in violation of a court order,'' Anaheim police Sgt. Shane Carringer said in a statement.

``Officers responded in order to contact the subject who was to be removed from the location per authority of the court,'' Carringer said.

``Officers arrived on scene and attempted to contact the subject in question who was outside upon their arrival."

``The subject attempted to flee back into the home via an already broken, glass window,'' Carringer said. ``The subject caused lacerations to himself in his attempt to escape but he was successfully detained by responding officers.''

The suspect, in his 20s, was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injuries, and was expected to be booked on suspicion of murder, Carringer said.

His name was not available for release.

Information was not immediately available on the identity of the dead man or his relationship to the suspect.
