Homeless Woman Sets Man On Fire in Downtown Los Angeles

The LAPD is now searching for a homeless woman that set a man on fire in Downtown Los Angeles overnight.

This crime was reported around 1 AM at a bus stop near Olympic Boulevard and Flower Street.

This incident seems unprovoked. The victim was walking down he street when he passed the suspect. The suspect allegedly threw a liquid substance at the man and used a lighter to light him on fire, according to the LAPD. After setting the man on fire, the suspect allegedly left the scene and still remains at large.

Bystanders immediately rushed to help the man and called local authorities. He was taken to a local hospital and has second and third-degree burns.

According to investigators on this case, the man and woman did not know each other, nor did they exchange any words. A completely unprovoked attack.

Authorities describe the suspect as a white homeless woman, approximately 40-years-old, has blonde hair, stands at 5'7 ft tall and weighs close to 125 pounds.
She was wearing a white hoodie and blue jeans a the time of the incident.

Anybody that witnessed the incident or has information leading to the arrest of the woman is urged to contact the LAPD.
