LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Police have arrested a suspect accused of robbing two street vendors, and shooting one in the foot, in South Los Angeles on Saturday night.

The robbery happened near Florence Avenue and San Pedro Street, according to KABC, which reported it happening outside Aranda's Car Wash.

The news station shared video showing the suspect in a black jacket and hat approach a vendor with a gun, and appeared to demand money. The suspect and another vendor started struggling, and another vendor tried to intervene.

One of the victims, identified as David Jimenez, who works at Tacos Arandas, told KABC reporters he recognized the suspect as a customer.

The suspect, whose name has not been released by police, was arrested Sunday.
