In an announcement on Monday, Verizon shared that it’s raising its minimum wage to at least $20 an hour, available to all new and existing customer service employees. That includes both retail and sales employees.

For those employees that currently make less than the new $20 an hour minimum wage – their rate will be raised automatically, according to the wireless giant.

Additionally, the company is offering sign-on bonuses up to $2,500 for new retail employees and up to $3,500 for assistant managers.

Assistant managers are also being offered pay differentials for those who end up working on holidays, Sundays, and for team members who are bilingual.
