Adam Arkin Joins the Gary and Shannon Show

Adam will direct Paramount+’s highly anticipated, upcoming drama miniseries “The Offer.” 
Set in the early 1970’s, “The Offer” chronicles Al Ruddy’s experience of making “The Godfather” alongside Francis Ford Coppola. It's a biographical drama miniseries about genesis and production of “The Godfather.” The miniseries will broadcast on Paramount+ on April 28, 2022. 

Set to premiere on April 28th (TOMORROW), the series stars Miles Teller, Dan Fogler, Giovanni Ribisi, Matthew Goode, Juno Temple, Burn Gorman and Colin Hanks. Adam directed episodes 3, 4, 9, and the finale, episode 10. 

On the acting front, Adam was most recently seen in "Pig" (Neon, 2021), a profound and beautiful odyssey highlighting love and loss, anchored by raw performances from a stellar cast. Critics raved "Pig," calling it "quiet, unforced, and delicate" (Empire), a "very effective and evocative character study" (FilmWeek), and "a good-looking, well-acted movie with a solid kicker" (Rolling Stone).

Arkin’s work as an actor and director has garnered a plethora of award wins and nominations over the years, including the Tony Awards (Best Actor), the Primetime Emmy Awards (Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series) the Screen Actors Guild Awards (Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series) the Directors Guild of America (Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Children's Programs) and a win at the Daytime Emmy Awards (Outstanding Directing in a Children's Special).
