Bullet Shatters Window in West Hollywood City Hall; Investigation Underway

WEST HOLLYWOOD (CNS) - A window at West Hollywood City Hall was shattered by an apparent gunshot early this morning, prompting an investigation.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department units were called to the hall, located at 8300 Santa Monica Blvd., about 2 a.m. after receiving a report that a window facing Santa Monica Boulevard was shattered by a bullet, according to the LASD.

Deputies searched the area but found no signs of a suspect, and no one was injured in the shooting. No suspect description was immediately available.

West Hollywood City Hall was closed following the shooting and was expected to reopen Tuesday, after the Monday holiday.
