CNN Pres. Jeff Zucker Resigns Over 'Consensual Relationship' With Co-Worker

CNN president Jeff Zucker is stepping down, after admitting to a 'consensual relationship' with another network executive.

  • Zucker says he did not initially disclose the relationship, which came to light during the recent investigation into ex-CNN anchor Chris Cuomo.
  • CNN's chief marketing officer Allison Gollust came forward as the exec in question, writing "I regret that we didn’t disclose it at the right time." She will reportedly remain at CNN.
  • Zucker's resignation is effective immediately, with a transition plan to be announced shortly.
  • How does your workplace handle employee relationships? Should Zucker have to resign over a consensual relationship with another high-ranking executive?
