Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy revealed that President Joe Biden called him to “clear the air” after Biden was heard calling him a “stupid son of a b***h”

This all took place yesterday when Biden held a press conference to discuss the President’s efforts to address inflation and supply chain issues. As reporters began asking Biden questions, Doocy asked the President if he considered inflation a “political liability”. Obviously, Biden did not like this question and was heard on a hot mic calling him a “stupid son of a bitch”. Due to the commotion of a White House event, Doocy said that he did not know about the President’s remarks until a colleague told him about it.

Doocy said:

“My reaction was delayed because as you can see the Biden staff were ushering us out. They were telling us thank you, time to go. It wasn't until we went to the basement and then outside and then back to the press room that somebody said "Hey, did you hear with the president said about you?"

Later in the evening following Biden’s statement, Doocy spoke on the Sean Hannity’s, “Hannity” claiming that about an hour after the President’s vulgar remarks, he gave Doocy a call to “clear the air”.

Doocy summarized the phone call by saying:

"He [Biden] said 'It's nothing personal, pal.' And I told him that I appreciate him reaching out,"

He continued by saying:

"Hey Sean, the world is on the brink of, like, World War III right now with all of this stuff going on. I appreciate that the president took a couple of minutes out this evening while he was still at this desk to give me a call and clear the air."
