Seven Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Crash in South LA Area

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A multi-vehicle crash in the South Los Angeles area today left seven people injured, five seriously.

Paramedics were sent to the 8600 block of South Main Street about 11:55 a.m., according to the Los Angles Fire Department.

Five people were taken to hospitals with serious injuries, and two were transported for treatment of ``lesser injuries,'' the LAFD reported.

At least one child was among the injured, according to reports from the scene. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
