Tulsa Police Department Adopts Puppies Abandoned on Christmas Day

Several officers with the Tulsa Police Department were able to bring home a new family member on Christmas Day.

On Saturday, someone left a duffel bag on the counter of a local QuikTrip convenience store.

Upon investigation, it was discovered that five newborn puppies were inside the bag.

When they arrived, the four Tulsa officers were taken with the black and white pups and quickly adopted four of them.

The fifth went home with a QuikTrip employee.

Someone from the area said they'd seen a surveillance video where it looks like a couple also abandoned what appears to be the pups' mom.

No word so far from the police department on whether or not the mom was found.
