`The Unforgivable,' `The Witcher' Top Netflix Movie, TV Viewership

HOLLYWOOD (CNS) - ``The Unforgivable'' was the most-watched English- language film on Netflix for the second consecutive week, according to figures released Tuesday by the streaming service.  

Viewers spent 74.44 million hours watching the Sandra Bullock-starring post-incarceration drama between Dec. 13 and Sunday, its first full week of release.  

Viewership was down 13.3% from the 85.86 million hours watched during its first three days of release the previous week.  

The animated comedy ``Back to the Outback'' rose one spot to second with 38.99 million hours watched in its first full week of release. Viewership was up 141.1% from the 16.17 million hours watched the previous week, when it was available for three days.  

Four films reached the top 10 for the first time.  

The holiday sequel ``A California Christmas: City Lights'' was third, with 22.86 million hours watched in its first four days of release.  

The 2017 Christian drama ``The Shack'' was fifth with 11.73 million hours watched. The 2017 superhero film ``Spider-Man: Homecoming,'' was sixth with 9.37 million hours watched.  

The 2019 neo-noir action thriller ``John Wick: Chapter 3 -- Parabellum'' was seventh with 8.79 million hours watched.  

Dropping out of the top 10 were the Jane Campion-directed psychological thriller ``The Power of the Dog''; the Christmas romantic comedy ``Single All the Way''; the action thriller ``Redemption Day''; and the Halle Berry-starring and directed mixed martial arts film ``Bruised.''  

``Red Notice'' was fourth with 12.71 million hours watched, increasing the action comedy's record total to 384.92 million hours in its 38 days of release.  

The second season of the fantasy drama ``The Witcher'' topped the English-language television programs with 142.43 million hours watched of its eight episodes in their first three days of release.  

The eight-episode first season of ``The Witcher'' was second with 49.18 million hours watched.  

The real estate series ``Selling Tampa'' was fifth with 14.23 million hours watched in its first five days of release.  

The other program making its debut in the top 10 was the first season of the DC superhero series ``Titans,'' eighth for the week with 10.34 million hours watched of its 11 episodes released in 2018.  

The 13-episode third season of ``Titans'' was third 23.81 million hours watched, all outside the United States, one week after finishing second with 26 million hours watched. ``Titans'' streams on HBO Max in the United States.  

The fourth season of the 3D animated series of videos of traditional nursery rhymes and original children's songs ``CoComelon'' returned to the top 10 after a two-week absence, placing 10th with 10 million hours watched.  

Dropping out of the top 10 were the fourth season of the animated science fiction action-adventure series ``Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous''; the second season of ``Lost in Space''; the seven-episode limited series starring Kevin Hart and Wesley Snipes ``True Story''; and the fourth season of the real estate documentary ``Selling Sunset.''  

The 10 most-watched English-language movies on Netflix were ``The Unforgivable''; ``Back to the Outback''; ``A California Christmas: City Lights''; ``Red Notice''; ``The Shack''; ``Spider-Man: Homecoming''; `John Wick: Chapter 3 -- Parabellum'' ;  ``The Christmas Chronicles''; ``The Christmas Chronicles: Part 2''; and ``A Boy Called Christmas.''  

The 10 most-watched English-language television programs on Netflix were the second and first seasons of ``The Witcher''; the third season of ``Titans''; third season of ``Lost in Space''; the first season of ``Selling Tampa''; the first season of ``Lost in Space''; ``Maid''; the first season of ``Titans''; the first season of ``Arcane''; `and the fourth season of ``CoComelon.''
