Episode 105 of "Unsolved with Steve Gregory" delves into "The Murder of Minerva Gonzalez", "The Murder of Diego Reza", & an update on the manhunt for cartel leader, "El Mencho"
In Case 1, Steve dives into the murder of Minerva Gonzalez - In 2010, Minerva Gonzalez walked her kids to school as usual. But, by the time her kids got home from school, Gonzalez had been beaten beyond recognition. Gonzalez’s home had been broken into twice before and Fontana Police say there had been a rash of ‘panty thefts’ from homes in the area.
In Case 2, we explore the tragic death of Diego Reza, an 18-year-old who was shot and killed while driving home from a 4th of July Party – it’s a case from the LA County Sheriff’s Department.
and lastly - an update on the manhunt for cartel leader, "El Mencho". After our episode on "El Mencho" aired, we discovered our first profile of "El Mencho" prompted a spike in calls to the DEA. Steve talks to Special Agent Mori with the DEA to discuss the update.
