Clinical professor of medicine, population, and public health sciences at USC Keck School of Medicine, Dr. Jeffrey D. Klausner calls in at 4 pm to discuss a potential new approach to COVID-19.
In his newest article for CalMatters, Dr. Klausner discussed that medications have shown it is time to pivot our approach to COVID-19.
Dr. Klausner mentions Fluvoxamine and its effectiveness. This medication is usually available by prescription and a recent study shows that in COVID-19 patients that took approximately 80% of the medication, mortality was reduced by 90%.
