COSTA MESA (CNS) - Costa Mesa police today were looking for several suspects involved in a robbery at South Coast Plaza.

Police were called at 7:13 p.m. Monday regarding the armed robbery at the mall at 3300 Bristol St.

Three to five masked men wearing black clothes and hoodies told customers in a patio at the Seasons 52 restaurant to ``get down,'' with one robber apparently armed with a gun, said Roxi Fyad of the Costa Mesa Police Department.

The robbers ran off with a purse and fled in a white Buick four-door vehicle south on Bristol, Fyad said.

No one was hurt. Anyone with information was asked to call detectives at 714-754-5051 or 714-754-4933.
