SYLMAR (CNS) - Authorities arrested eight people for unlawful manufacture of cannabis at an industrial warehouse in Sylmar, police said today.

Officers served a search warrant on Thursday at the facility on Gladstone Avenue near Arroyo Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Investigators went to the location after receiving citizen complaints, police said.

More than 3,000 pounds of cannabis, two rifles, a shotgun, a pistol, and more than $30,000 in U.S. currency were seized, the LAPD reported.

The suspects were booked on various ``unlawful cannabis manufacturing violations,'' police said.
