Authorities today announced the arrest of two teenage brothers in connection with a Sept. 24 shooting at the Metro's C line station in Willowbrook that left four people wounded, and continued to urge a possible third suspect to turn himself in.
Deputies dispatched at about 7:20 p.m. on Sept. 24, regarding a call of possible shots heard at the Willowbrook C Line station, found four people suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Paramedics rushed all four victims to area hospitals, where they survived their injuries. Detectives served a search warrant on Nov. 2 at a home in the 10500 block of Towne Avenue in Los Angeles, where they located one of the suspects. Authorities said after the first suspect was taken in, his brother -- who was also identified as a suspect in the shooting -- was later brought into a sheriff's station by their mother to surrender.
The boys were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and detectives are looking for a third suspect believed to be associated with the shooting. The detective bureau of the sheriff's Transit Service Bureau urged anyone with information regarding the shooting to call them at 323-563-5000, or
