- On Friday, the team will change over its digital and social media platforms to the new name and branding, and Guardians merch will be available to buy both online and in stores.
- The name change was announced back in July, but was delayed due to a legal dispute with a local roller derby team using the Guardians name. That dispute was settled 'amicably' earlier this week.
