NEWPORT BEACH (CNS) - The identities of the bodies of two women and a man found inside a Balboa Island home in Newport Beach were released today.

The three who died were identified as Andrew Adams, 43, and Desiree Temple, 43, of Yorba Linda, and Samantha Haiman, 45, of Riverside, according to Sgt. Todd Hylton of the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

Another man who survived was rushed to a nearby hospital after the bodies were found Monday morning.

Officers were called at 8:23 a.m. to the home near Diamond Avenue and Bay Front Alley South, where they found the bodies, said Heather Rangel, spokeswoman for the Newport Beach Police Department.

Rangel did not know the condition of the man who survived.

Lt. Keith Krallman told reporters police suspect illegal drugs were involved in the deaths.

“There are illegal drugs suspected right now, and usually illegal drugs sometimes contain fentanyl,'' Krallman said.

Fentanyl has not been confirmed, but a hazardous materials team was sent to the crime scene “out of an abundance of caution'' to process the evidence, he said.
