L.A. Requires Proof of a COVID-19 Vaccine for Indoor Establishments

Los Angeles will be requiring proof of vaccination for indoor businesses next month.

  • The move will have people showing evidence of their Covid-19 vaccine to enter, eat, or shop at any indoor businesses.
  • Under this mandate, anyone who is unable to show proof of vaccination can still use outdoor spaces.
  • The new ordinance will begin in November.
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said,
"These new rules will encourage more people to get the shot, and make businesses safer for workers and customers — so that we can save more lives, better protect the vulnerable, and make our communities even safer as we fight this pandemic."
