Detectives Seek Public Help to Solve East Hollywood Killing

EAST HOLLYWOOD (CNS) - Detectives today sought public help to solve the killing of a man who was gunned down in the East Hollywood area about a month ago.

Kareem Johnson, 33, of Los Angeles was shot about 3 a.m. on Sept. 10 as he got out of his vehicle in the 4500 block of Hollywood Boulevard, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

“Detectives learned during the investigation that there were several people who may have observed the incident,'' the LAPD said in a statement.

No arrests have been reported, and no description was available of a suspect or suspects, police said. A motive for the shooting was not known.
